Zoe Rahman Live and In Conversation

MOBO award winner and Mercury Award nominee Zoe Rahman is celebrated for her individual style, powerful technique and exuberant performance and is one of Britain’s leading young musicians.

The performance will trace Zoe’s musical journey in the jazz world with performances of pieces that have been instrumental in shaping her work such as Ellington, Monk, Joanne Brackeen and Jessica Williams. Zoe will also present her experiences of going to Dhaka and how the music by the likes of Tagore, Abbasuddin and Hemant Mukherjee has influenced her. Zoe will be in conversation with Skinder Hundal, the Chief Executive of New Art Exchange.
